Local Implementing Partner for Balkans at TAKHAYYUL Project

Short description:
This project partnership aims to monitor and analyze the narratives, manifestation and impact of the Islamist populism proffered by Turkish state and non-state actors, targeting communities in the Western Balkans region. The research is conducted in scope of the TAKHAYYUL Project, implemented by Institute for Global Prosperity of University College London.

Activities:
1. Research assistance:
HC assists the researches conducted in scope of the Takhayyul Project by:
– providing briefing presentations about ongoing developments in regards to Islamist populism in the Balkans region;
– identifying possible stakeholders for interviewing by project team about research topic;
– guiding within the local community;
– advising on how to navigate in the region, and providing aid to any local operations.

2. Monthly reports:
HC produces monthly reports to TAKHAYYUL Project team about field and media activities by Turkish state and non-state actors that promote narratives and manifests Islamist populism in the region.

3. Writing academic articles:
HC writes academic articles together with experts at the TAKHAYYUL Project team to be published in academic journals.
